Another Way To Get Paid To Blog

In my recent post on how to get paid to blog I told you about my experience with Blogitive. That site is now sending offers through again, and I've made a bit in the last week. While I was waiting for them to get their act together, I did some searching and found another paid to blog site. It's called BloggingAds.

When you go to the homepage, you have to enter some information about your blog (owner, email address, URL and so on). They also ask how you heard about them. Feel free to mention my name (Sharon Hurley Hall) though I don't think they pay for referrals. Submit the form, then they email you within a day or so to say whether they want to use your blog. I've had three of mine approved for use (not this one yet, although I have submitted it for approval).

Then they send you an email with a few key phrases, some pre-prepared ads and some links to good examples. What I like about this method is that it gives bloggers the choice of writing their own content as usual and putting the ad at the end or building a post around the keyphrase.

Pay is variable. I got $6 for my first post, $5 for the second and I'm still waiting to hear about the third. And the posts took me less than 10 minutes to write. The best thing about it, is that they pay as soon as they approve a post (by Paypal). I'm hoping they come up with a few more opportunities in the next few days.

Although you can't guarantee that your blog will be accepted, it certainly seems worth a try. If you do sign up, please come back and tell me how you've found the experience.
